Hope Dove
Hope Dove is currently a Graduate student pursuing her PhD at Temple University in the Africology and African American Studies Department; she holds an MA in Postcolonial Culture and Global Policy from University of London, Goldsmiths and an BSc (Hons) in Psychology from London Southbank University. She also studied Sociology at Lincoln University in Pennsylvania. Her key interests are the cultural and psychological impacts of racism within global society with a focus on the cultural construct of ‘race,’ how this applies to identity, and developing the analysis of recognition within an Afrocentric conceptual framework.

Jennifer Gardner
Born and raised in the artistically diverse Chicago, she is accustomed to understanding and connecting the nuances of building community and powerful networks.. Jennifer has served on the executive board for the Xi Lambda Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc; helped numerous non-profit organizations reorient their goals; and small firms build effective marketing blueprints . She holds a B.A. in African & Black Diaspora Studies and minor in International Studies. and a M.A. in Africology & African American Studies from Temple University (Philadelphia, PA) specializes in popular culture, Hip-Hop, and community-based education.

Rasheed Atwater
Rasheed J. Atwater is a PhD student in the Department of Africology at Temple University. He is the baby boy of Bernard Atwater and Latricia Hunt, brother of Rashad Atwater, and Husband to Auriel Hulin-Atwater. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Africology and History at Eastern Michigan University. Atwater also earned his Master's degree in Social Foundations of community Education and a Graduate Certificate in African-American studies at Eastern Michigan University. Raised in Saginaw, MI, and brought up in a community of interdependence, Atwater focuses his works on African familyhood and community education.
